Let me tell you, folks, we’ve done something incredible here. We’ve taken a huge step forward in the world of epilepsy surgery. We’ve got the best minds, the absolute best – 22 experts from 18 countries, can you believe it? And what we did was, we came together to tackle a big problem. We needed a way to say, “Hey, how sure are we about where this epilepsy is starting from?” And let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. There was a lot of back and forth, a lot of different opinions.

At first, it was chaos – everyone had their own idea, and we were all over the place. But that’s what’s so great about bringing the best people together. We started with these scenarios, right? We looked at everything – MRI images, what the brain waves are saying, and how patients did after surgery. And guess what? We found out we weren’t agreeing much. But that’s okay, that’s how you start something great.

But then, something amazing happened. We kept at it, round after round, and boom – consensus. We got on the same page. When we saw clear signs on an MRI or really good outcomes after surgery, we were confident. We knew we were onto something. But if the signs weren’t clear, or the surgery didn’t help much, we were cautious. It makes sense, right?

And here’s the best part – we created a grading system. It’s simple, it’s easy to understand, and it’s going to make a huge difference. Now, when someone’s looking at studies, trying to figure out the best way to help people with epilepsy, they’ve got a clear guide. This is how we raise the bar, folks. This is how we make things better for everyone. And let me tell you, it’s going to be huge.
