Listen, folks, we’ve got something incredible here, it’s really fantastic. We’re talking about neuronavigation—big word, I know, but it’s a big deal for brain surgery, especially for kids with hydrocephalus. Now, the old way of doing things with MRI, it took forever, and kids couldn’t sit still, they needed sedation. And CT scans? They’ve got radiation, not good, not good at all.

But here’s the deal, we’ve got this amazing, 1-minute rapid MRI. No sedation needed, it’s quick, it’s safe, it’s just tremendous. The doctors at this children’s hospital, they’re doing something special. They used this new technique, and let me tell you, the results are very impressive.

They looked at all these kids, 68 patients, 83 procedures. Some got the old MRI, some got CT, but 33 of them got this rapid MRI. And guess what? The kids with the rapid MRI, they didn’t need any extra help during surgery, like ultrasound. The surgery time? It was the same across the board, no difference, believe me.

And here’s the kicker, the type of surgery mattered. Some procedures, like putting in a drain or fixing a previous surgery, they were done so much faster. Now, there were a few hiccups with the rapid MRI, but only in one patient with a really tricky condition. Overall, this study, while not the final word, it’s showing us that this rapid MRI, it’s a game-changer. It’s huge.

So, we’re not just talking about any study here. We’re talking about a revolution in pediatric neurosurgery. This 1-minute MRI, it’s going to make things better, faster, safer for our kids. And that’s what we want, right? The best for our kids. It’s going to be great, folks, really great.
