Unreported variant foramen of the frontal bone: the latero-orbital foramen.

Listen, folks, we’ve got something really interesting here, believe me. There’s this unusual foramen, a little hole in the skull, and it’s in a place you wouldn’t expect – right above the frontozygomatic suture. That’s near the corner of your eye, okay? It’s on the left side, and it’s not just any spot, it’s 2.36 cm from the supraorbital foramen, which is another important hole up there.

Now, this foramen is 2.5 mm above the suture, and it’s got dimensions – 3.1 mm long and 1.3 mm wide. The inside part, it opens up 1.45 cm from the zygomaticotemporal foramen. We’re thinking, it could be a path for nerves, like the zygomatic or lacrimal nerves, and their blood vessels. It’s huge, really.

The thing is, we don’t know how common this is, but it’s important, very important. It’s got archival value. We’re talking about a reference point for future cases. When they see something like this, they’ll say, “Wow, we’ve seen this before.” It’s going to be great for avoiding mistakes in medical imaging and surgeries. We’re making things better, safer. It’s going to be tremendous.
