Listen, folks, we’ve got a lot of people out there, a lot of people with trigeminal neuralgia, TGN, and they’re not getting relief from the usual drugs. They’re suffering, believe me. So, what do we do? We’ve got this incredible, absolutely incredible technique – it’s called an injection of absolute alcohol, AA, right into the nerve. It’s fantastic for the elderly, for those who can’t handle big surgeries, and they love it because it’s simple, it’s fast, and it’s safe. They walk in, they get treated, they walk out. It’s that easy.
But let me tell you, it’s not perfect. We’ve seen some cases, not many, but some, where there’s been a bit of a problem – local necrosis, ulceration, not good. It’s rare, but it happens. We think it might be because of a few things – maybe the alcohol hits the wrong spot, maybe it’s the technique, maybe it’s too much, too often. We’re looking into it, we’re going to figure it out.
So, remember, this AA thing, it’s a game-changer for a lot of people, but we’ve got to do it right. We’ve got to keep it safe, keep it effective. That’s what we’re going to do.
